Banana production in Madeira fell by 3.7 thousand tons in 2025, representing a shortfall of 14%, despite the increase in cultivated area. This is the region's main crop and makes the headline in the printed edition of DIÁRIO de Notícias da Madeira this Tuesday, September 8.

Chinese exports grow 25% in August
