The International Master's in Management at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) became the second best in the world according to the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking, published in September. The program rose two positions compared to the previous edition and comes only behind the Swiss school St. Gallen. In just five years, the master's program went from 23rd to 2nd place, surpassing institutions such as INSEAD, HEC Paris, and London Business School, remaining the best-ranked Portuguese business school in this global ranking.
One of the most highlighted indicators is the overall satisfaction of alumni, who gave the program a rating of 9.53 out of 10, corresponding to 3rd place worldwide in this indicator. The employability rate is 100%, confirming the immediate integration of graduates into the global job market. In the Aims Achieved indicator, which evaluates the extent to which alumni believe they have achieved the objectives they had when deciding to pursue the master's degree, Nova SBE registers 92%, the second best position in the ranking.
In the Career Service Rank, which evaluates the effectiveness of the school's career service, Nova SBE occupies 7th place, having improved by 15 positions compared to 2025. In the Alumni Network Rank, the school ranks 11th worldwide, while in the International Work Mobility Rank it occupies 10th place. Sustainability remained a strong point, with the school reinforcing its 11th place worldwide in the Carbon Footprint indicator.
Pedro Oliveira, dean of Nova SBE, highlighted that achieving second place worldwide is a historic milestone that results from a trajectory of consistent evolution, recognizing the quality of the experience provided to students. Catherine da Silveira, associate dean for International Affairs & Partnerships, stated that the result reflects the path of building an international community that creates concrete opportunities for students in different markets.
