Variant on EN211 between Quintã and Mesquinhata is officially inaugurated

SAPO Notícias7 September 2026 at 22:18

The new Variant on EN211 between Quintã and Mesquinhata was officially inaugurated, marking the completion of a road infrastructure awaited by the local population.

The variant creates an alternative road link to EN211, diverting traffic from the localities that were crossed by the old road. This change aims to reduce traffic in the urban centers of the affected villages.

The new infrastructure also improves the road connection between the municipalities of Marco de Canaveses and Baião, facilitating mobility between these two regions of the district of Porto.
