Latvia has banned the import of books, newspapers and other printed materials from Russia and Belarus. The measure was announced by the Baltic country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which said the ban aims to combat disinformation and war propaganda. The ministry stated that the ban is intended to protect Latvia's security interests and reduce economic relations with Russia and Belarus.
