An illegal immigration network was revealed by the program Repórter Sábado, broadcast on the NOW channel. The investigation discovered that this network is dedicated to facilitating the obtaining of visas fraudulently. The scheme works through the bribery of businessmen who have the capacity to provide the necessary documentation to visa applicants. The amounts offered as bribes to businessmen can reach 1500 euros for each document delivered. This practice allows the network to circumvent the legal immigration processes, offering an alternative route to those who wish to obtain residence authorization through illicit means.
