Parish of Ribeira Seca will celebrate patron saint

The parish of Ribeira Seca, in the municipality of Machico, will celebrate the feast of its patron saint, Our Lady of Amparo, next Sunday, September 13. The celebration includes a procession that will leave from the chapel of Amparo at 4:30 PM, followed by a solemn mass at 5 PM.

The solemn mass will be presided over by Dom José Dionísio Gouveia, who is originally from Venezuela. This information was reported by Sílvio Mendes.

The event is a tradition in the community of Ribeira Seca, bringing together the faithful for the religious celebration dedicated to Our Lady of Amparo.
