Caixa Econômica Federal put up for sale this Tuesday (8) a total of 508 properties, residential and commercial, through an open bidding process. The properties are distributed throughout the country and offer discounts that can reach 50% of the initial appraisal value. Bids can be made through the Porto Leilões website.
The open bidding format has a different dynamic from traditional auctions. According to Renan Lopes, one of the partners and educators at Smart Leilões, interested parties can submit their proposals on the auctioneer's platform as long as they are above the minimum value established in the notice. Because the bids are open, it is possible to follow the evolution of the bids in real time and decide whether it is worth matching or not the competing offers.
One point highlighted by Lopes is that, when making a proposal, buyers must also consider the costs and any particularities of each property. The offered value for the property does not include the additional costs related to the transaction.
