The Government and the European Investment Bank (EIB) reached an agreement to establish a credit line aimed at housing. This financing line aims to support houses that were left out of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) program.
The housing that will be financed through this credit line has already been identified by the municipalities. The identification was made through the Local Housing Strategies, which map the housing needs of each territory.
The agreement comes as a response to the gaps left by the RRP, which failed to cover all housing needs identified by the municipalities. This solution now allows continuity for housing projects that were not included in the initial program.
