Lenovo presented at IFA Project Swan, a new proof of concept that applies extendable display technology in horizontal mode, allowing the laptop screen to be expanded. This solution comes as an evolution of the brand's previous concept, the ThinkPad Rollable, which already allowed screen enlargement but only vertically.
Project Swan thus represents a different approach to expanding the viewing area, stretching the screen sideways instead of upward. This innovation positions itself as a proof of concept that demonstrates the design and functionality possibilities for future Lenovo devices.
In addition to Project Swan, Lenovo also revealed at the same event Project AeroBlade, a laptop that operates without a fan. This feature allows for a thinner and quieter design, eliminating the need for traditional cooling systems.
Both announcements were shown during the IFA technology fair, where Lenovo has a tradition of presenting innovative concepts that may be transformed into commercial products in the future.
