The Standing Committee approved unanimously the convening of a plenary session for Tuesday, which will serve to discuss a motion of censure presented by the Chega party against the Government.
The motion of censure is directed at the Executive and, according to the available information, it should be rejected when submitted to a vote.
All deputies present in the Standing Committee voted in favor of holding the plenary, demonstrating agreement among the parliamentary groups on the need to debate the matter in a plenary session.
Tuesday's session will thus mark the first time that the Chega party submits a motion of censure against the Government for consideration by Parliament.
