Carris presented 29 more electric buses, increasing its sustainable vehicle fleet. This acquisition is part of funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), which has supported the transition to more ecological transport in Portugal.
Rui Lopo, president of Carris, revealed that 2 million euros will be invested in electrical infrastructure by the end of the year. This investment aims to ensure the necessary conditions for the operation and charging of the new electric vehicles in the city.
With this delivery, the public transport company of Lisbon takes another step in modernizing its fleet, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and to more sustainable urban transport in the Portuguese capital.
