Coimbra prepares "new" bus stop with cafeteria and toilets

Notícias de Coimbra7 September 2026 at 17:17

The Coimbra City Council unanimously approved today the opening of a public tender for the exploitation of two kiosks. This decision comes within the scope of a project to create a "new" bus stop in the city.

The project includes the installation of a cafeteria and toilets next to the stop, aiming to improve the services provided to citizens and public transport passengers.

The Coimbra municipality is the entity responsible for this initiative, having approved the measure unanimously among its members.

With this public tender, the Municipal Council intends to grant the commercial exploitation of the spaces, allowing the creation of complementary services in the city's transport infrastructure.
