The Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo expects to achieve 60% of the forecast financial gains from the acquisition of Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) by 2028. This acquisition represents a significant milestone for the Italian banking sector.
The bank also projects savings of 600 million euros in personnel costs through this operation. Additionally, it expects to reduce administrative expenses by 900 million euros.
These financial targets demonstrate Intesa Sanpaolo's ambition to consolidate its position in the Italian market through this strategic acquisition.
