The Municipal Council of São João da Madeira was forced to launch a new tender procedure for the rehabilitation of the pavilion's sports floor. This happened after the company that had won the first tender withdrew from the project.
The postponement of the reopening of the sports facility represents a setback for the regular users of Pavilhão das Travessas, who will have to wait for the conclusion of the new awarding process and for the floor rehabilitation works.
