The XV edition of the Iberian Land Rover Meeting (EILR) took place this weekend at the INATEL Holiday Park, at Praia do Cabedelo, in Viana do Castelo. The event was organised by LandMania Clube de Portugal with the support of the Municipality of Viana do Castelo.
The organisation has already confirmed that the next edition of the meeting will take place from 8 to 10 September 2028, returning to the same location.
Over three days, the event brought together around 4,000 participants and 1,200 Land Rover vehicles from Portugal, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil, cementing its position as the largest brand meeting in Continental Europe.
In addition to the vehicle gathering, this edition presented itself as a true culture and leisure festival, with more than 50 musical and artistic moments, including concerts, sunsets and street parades. The highlight was the official presentation of Muddy, the club's new mascot, an Iberian Lynx that became an immediate hit with families and children. According to Luís Jerónimo, president of LandMania Clube de Portugal, the balance of the event was extraordinarily positive, confirming that the strategy of maintaining the event's DNA while evolving into a culture and leisure festival is yielding results.
