Municipal Library of Lagoa hosts meeting with author NERO

The Municipal Library of Lagoa will host a meeting with Algarve author NERO (Roberto Simões) on October 8 at 6 PM, with a presentation by Esmeralda Lopes Alves. NERO is a poet, writer and teacher, born in southern Portugal in 1987, graduated from the University of Lisbon and distinguished as "Best Teacher" by NOVA University. He is the author of works such as "Oceano — O Reino das Águas", "Telúria" and "Akbar — Lunário Poético duma Alma ainda Árabe", which are part of the "Spirit Trilogy", exploring the relationship between the human, the sacred and nature. In 2025, he represented Portugal at the 1st Cinema and Literature Festival of Tétouan, in Morocco.
