The Conselharia (Department) of Education of the Valencian Community presented this Monday the main guidelines for the start of the 2026/27 school year, which began for more than 98,000 students in the province of Castellón. These guidelines were structured around four main axes: teaching staff, students, families, and employment and opportunities.
Among the main measures announced, the reduction of bureaucracy for teachers, the increase in the number of teachers, the decrease in student-to-class ratios, and the strengthening of educational infrastructure stand out. In this last aspect, eight educational centers are operational in the province of Castellón.
The overall objective of these measures is to improve the quality of education and create better conditions for education professionals as well as for students and their families. The bet on vocational training is also part of the priorities defined for this school year.
With this set of initiatives, the Conselharia aims to address the challenges of the regional educational system and offer more opportunities to the young students of the province of Castellón.
