The Public Prosecutor's Office is requesting 18 years of special incompatibility for any elected office for José María González, known as Kichi, former mayor of the Municipal Council of Cádiz.

Kichi is accused of two continuing crimes of disclosure of secrets and prevarication, related to the actions of an advisor from his party in the municipality.

The trial concerns the conduct that the advisor allegedly had during the performance of his duties in the municipal executive, while Kichi was mayor.

The request for 18 years of suspension of political rights arises as a consequence of the formal charges filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office against the former municipal leader.
