The Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Maria do Rosário Palma Ramalho, expressed her availability to be heard in Parliament about the report of the working group created to study the Social Security reform.
The minister reiterated that the reform of the Social Security system "will need a regime pact", underscoring the importance of a cross-party agreement for any change in this area.
The working group was established with the objective of analyzing and proposing measures for the reform of the Social Security system in Portugal.
The minister's availability to provide clarification to deputies comes in the context of the debate about the future of pensions and the sustainability of the Social Security system.
