Former prime minister José Sócrates filed a complaint against the prosecutor who led the investigation of Operation Marquês. The complaint relates to the trial of an administrative action in which Sócrates demanded compensation from the State of at least 50 thousand euros. The administrative proceedings arise from conversations the prosecutor had with journalists, allegedly outside the scope of the judicial process. This complaint represents another chapter in the various legal disputes involving the former government official.
