The AirShow held its debut in Marvão, attracting thousands of people to see historic aircraft and aerial acrobatics. The population spread across several strategic points of the municipality, including the Castle, Portagem and Santo António das Areias, to watch the spectacle.
Luís Costa, vice-president of the Marvão Municipal Council, stated that the municipality had envisioned a spectacle capable of showing the aircraft in full from various points of the municipality. This ambition was ultimately confirmed by the massive presence of visitors.
The inaugural AirShow event in Marvão thus managed to fulfill the objective of providing privileged views of the aerial maneuvers from the different locations of the municipal territory.
