The Spanish Government presented this Monday the new Casa 47 portal, the state housing company born from the transformation of Sepes, which starts with 800 affordable rental homes, to which another 1,500 will soon be added, as announced by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, during the presentation of the platform. The newspaper EL PERIÓDICO had reported this information first on the previous Friday.
Sánchez stated that "for too many people, searching for a home has become a kind of obstacle course". The Executive aspires for Casa 47 to function as a single window to consult the offer, verify requirements and submit applications.
The platform will show calls with information about the homes, including typology, location, deadlines and access conditions. The portal also includes a search engine with a prior simulator so that each user can know which properties they can request.
The Government plans to incorporate new offers progressively, thus expanding the catalog available to citizens looking for affordable housing solutions.
