The championship final of the AFE League for the 2026/2027 season will be held at the Campo de Jogos Pereira Bom in Bencatel. The confirmation was made by the president of the Évora Football Association, António Pereira, during the inauguration of the new synthetic turf at that sports venue.
The AFE already intended to bring the AFE League final to Bencatel last season, but the conditions of the old turf made the event unfeasible. The renovation of the playing surface thus represents recognition for the investment made in the venue's conditions and constitutes a reward for the community.
The president of Bencatelense, André Rocha, considered that hosting the final is a source of great pride for the entire club structure and highlighted the capacity of the institution and the local community to host an event of that magnitude, regardless of which teams go on to dispute the championship decision.
The holding of the AFE League final in Bencatel is expected to constitute one of the most prominent moments of the 2026/2027 season, placing the Campo de Jogos Pereira Bom at the centre of attention of Évora district football.
