GNR and Maritime Police rule out confirmation of migrant landing in Sesimbra

GNR and the Maritime Police do not confirm any migrant landing in the early hours of Sunday at Praia da Foz, in the area of Aldeia do Meco, in Sesimbra. The authorities were alerted by a fisherman about the presence of a rubber boat that had come ashore. The Maritime Police went to the site and subsequently activated the GNR to reinforce the device on site. The authorities had not confirmed by the time of publication of the news the occurrence of any migrant landing, with the situation remaining without official confirmation.
