Works begin to replace fenders on the north quay of Funchal Port

Work began today on the installation of new protections and replacement of fenders on the north quay of Funchal Port. Technicians from the company Etermar surveyed the site where the intervention is taking place.

The works begin exactly one year after the accident with the ship Lobo Marinho, which caused damage to the port's equipment.

This intervention aims to repair the damage caused by the incident at the docking of the Lobo Marinho, restoring the safety conditions on the north quay of the port of the Madeiran capital.
