Miami International Airport was the scene of a serious aviation accident when a Boeing 767, coming from Puerto Rico, left the runway immediately after landing. The incident caused at least five dead and five injured, according to the updated toll from the authorities.
The aircraft went off the runway shortly after touching down on the airport runway, causing an emergency situation that mobilized rescue services to the scene.
The authorities have not yet identified the victims nor revealed details about their nationalities. The causes of the runway excursion are being investigated by the competent authorities.
