A restaurant was closed due to improper conditions for handling and preparing food. The closure decision came following an inspection that identified serious failures in the establishment's hygiene conditions.
The authorities identified the absence of pest control as one of the main irregularities found. This situation represents a significant risk to the food safety of the customers who frequented the establishment.
In addition to the lack of pest control, a lack of sanitization was also detected in the restaurant's facilities. These conditions were considered incompatible with current legislation for catering establishments.
As a result of the inspection, 102 kilograms of foodstuffs that were in inadequate conditions for consumption were seized. The quantity seized demonstrates the scale of the irregularities existing at the location.
