The new school year in Mértola begins with the opening of a new school center, which opens its doors this Monday. The total investment for the construction of this facility was 2.5 million euros.

The school center was designed with the aim of providing students with an environment conducive to their academic and personal development. The infrastructure aims to offer better learning conditions for the school community of the municipality.

The opening is scheduled for 7:00 PM and will be attended by the Secretary of State for School Administration, Maria Luísa Oliveira, who will be present at the official ceremony to open the new educational establishment.
