The Socialist Party (PS) guarantees it will not destabilize the country, but has not yet revealed whether it will vote in favor, against, or abstain on the motion of censure against the Government that will be discussed and voted on Tuesday.
The PS Secretary-General, José Luís Carneiro, revealed that he is listening to the party until the day of the debate and voting, that is, until Tuesday.
This position emerges at a moment of political tension, with the PS remaining cautious about its decision while gathering internal opinions.
The left-wing party, which governed the country until the current legislative session, thus avoids taking a definitive position before consulting its party structure.
