The Electoral Court of Ceará granted the right of reply to candidate Ciro Gomes (PSDB) against propaganda from Governor Elmano de Freitas (PT)'s coalition. The decision was issued on Saturday by Judge Magno Gomes de Oliveira.

The propaganda in question is approximately 30 seconds long and presents interleaved speeches from Ciro Gomes and former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), both from different moments and contexts.

Ciro Gomes' legal team argued that the editing associated distinct episodes to construct the conclusion that the tucano would have aggressive behavior against women and would adopt a violent posture when questioned.

The content of the piece presented the phrase "Ciro and Bolsonaro, the same way. (...) On the same side," suggesting an equivalence between the two politicians.
