Raimundo, general secretary of the PCP, closed the "Avante!" Festival with a warning about what he considered to be an "assault on Social Security" that remains in the Government's sights. The communist leader criticized the actions of Montenegro's executive, considering it a bigger problem than the situation involving Luís Neves.

The PCP leader also tried to dissuade the PS from enabling the State Budget, accusing the socialists of giving Chega space to "free itself" and providing the Government "conditions to escalate the attack" against social rights.

Raimundo's intervention comes in the context of the closing of the "Avante!" Festival, the PCP's annual event, where the party reinforces its political positions and criticisms regarding the government and the right.
