The PCP's general secretary today accused the Government of preparing an "assault on Social Security". The communist leader considered that this intention of the executive can only be stopped through strong mobilization of workers.

The PCP official called on workers to give "a strong rejection signal" regarding the measures being prepared by the Government in the area of Social Security. According to the party, only with this popular response will it be possible to stop what the PCP classifies as an attack on workers' rights.
