The special envoys from the Trump administration first traveled to Moscow, where they met with Vladimir Putin. After this visit to Russia, they went to Kyiv to continue the talks on the peace process.
In the Ukrainian capital, the envoys met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This meeting came following their previous visit to Moscow.
Zelensky stated he was ready to move forward with peace, but emphasized that Ukraine needs sovereignty guarantees. The Ukrainian president insisted on the need for a "just and dignified peace" for his country.
