Fúnez (PP) criticizes the Government for "insisting on imposing a camp" in the port of Ceuta

Carmen Fúnez, Deputy Secretary of Health and Social Policy of the Popular Party, criticized this Sunday the Government of Spain for the decision to install a settlement for migrants in the port of Ceuta. Fúnez made these statements to media in Villanueva de los Infantes, in the province of Ciudad Real.

The PP politician stressed that the port of Ceuta is a "strategic infrastructure" for security, and should therefore not host this type of camp. The deputy secretary recalled that there are reports prepared by Puertos del Estado and the security forces that confirm this classification.

According to Carmen Fúnez, these reports support that the port of Ceuta is an essential infrastructure for the security of both the citizens of Ceuta and all Spaniards. The representative of the Popular Party thus expressed her opposition to the measure taken by the Spanish executive.
