A new comic book inspired by the Alentejo cork oak montado was launched on Saturday in Odemira, in the district of Beja. The work represents the fourth edition of the project "Stories in the Shade of the Montado", an initiative by Ronha.
The book featured the collaboration of four authors and four illustrators, who gave shape to the stories in the publication. This diversity of creators allowed for exploring different perspectives on the montado ecosystem.
The Alentejo cork oak montado is a characteristic ecosystem of the region, known for its environmental, economic, and cultural importance. The comic book aims to bring readers closer to this very particular environment of the Alentejo interior.
The initiative aims to promote awareness of the natural values of the Alentejo territory, using the comic book as a vehicle for communication and environmental education among different audiences.
