About 30 people were seen disembarking on a beach in Sesimbra, according to information released. The National Republican Guard is currently carrying out searches to locate the occupants of a vessel that is believed to have brought these people to the coast.
The alert was given during the early morning by a fisherman, who spotted the suspicious activity on the beach. The authorities are proceeding with search operations to identify and locate all the people who disembarked in the area.
The searches are taking place in the Setúbal district, specifically in the municipality of Sesimbra, where the vessel is believed to have arrived during the night or early morning. The GNR maintains an active operation to locate the occupants.
