Stage 15 of the Vuelta a España is being broadcast live. The heat forced a change to the route of the stage, which was originally planned to be 189.7 kilometres long.

The stage was to run between Palma del Río and Córdoba. Due to extreme weather conditions, the route was shortened to 110.2 kilometres.

The stage was originally classified as rolling, but ended up being significantly reduced due to the intense heat being felt in the region.
