Al Ittihad beat Al Nassr 2-1 at the King Abdullah Sports City on Saturday, in the fifth round of the Saudi league. The Jeddah side, managed by Jorge Jesus, ended the unbeaten run of Cristiano Ronaldo's team, who suffered their first defeat of the season after four consecutive wins.
Striker George Ilenikhena was decisive for Al Ittihad's victory, scoring two goals in the first 22 minutes of the match. Ângelo reduced the deficit for Al Nassr at 36 minutes, but Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix's team could not complete the comeback in the second half.
The match was also marked by Richard Ríos's debut for Al Ittihad. The Colombian midfielder, loaned by Benfica without a purchase option, came on at halftime and played his first minutes in the new shirt.
