Joké Bakare brings West African tribal cuisine to Lisbon

Joké Bakare is a chef born in Nigeria who achieved a remarkable feat by earning a Michelin star for her restaurant, Chishuru, in London. The restaurant is known for serving food inspired by West African tribes.

The chef is now expanding her presence beyond London and is coming to Lisbon for a special appearance. The event is scheduled for the 11th and takes place at MACAM, a cultural space in the Portuguese capital.

Joké Bakare's visit to Lisbon is part of Ladies Night Fest, a festival that promises to bring the West African culinary experience to the Portuguese public. This is an opportunity for visitors to discover the authentic flavors of Nigerian and West African cuisine.
