The National Republican Guard (GNR) arrested in Loulé a man who was transporting 172 fuel canisters. The individual was intercepted by authorities during a surveillance operation.
When approached by police officers, the man attempted to flee on foot, but was eventually captured and detained by the authorities.
The authorities seized all of the fuel that the individual was transporting in the 172 canisters. The case was referred to the competent authorities for the appropriate legal proceedings.
