The Aliança da Bahia Building, one of the modernist architecture landmarks in Rio de Janeiro located on Rua Araújo Porto Alegre, in front of the Gustavo Capanema Palace, will host the CASACOR Rio show after undergoing a complete retrofit for two and a half years. The revitalization project is part of the Reviver Centro program, which aims to recover historic properties in the city center.
CASACOR Rio, which celebrates its 35th anniversary, is the oldest franchise of the CASACOR platform, a brand owned by Editora Globo. The interior design event is scheduled to start on the 15th and will run until November 8, occupying seven floors of the building, including the rooftop.
Forty-seven environments will be displayed across the different floors, where architects present proposals for organizing spaces such as lofts, studios, and even a psychoanalyst's office. Among the professionals involved is Jairo de Sender, who developed on the third floor a proposal for a loft adapted for a couple.
