Eight chinchorros crossed the channel during the São Paio festival at Praia da Torreira. This pilgrimage runs for six days and is currently on its third day.

Yesterday morning the chinchorros race took place, one of the traditional activities of this celebration. Chinchorros are small traditional boats from the region.

Today the "majestic" regatta of moliceiros is scheduled, another typical vessel of the Ria de Aveiro. Moliceiros are known for their bright colors and represent a tradition rooted in the local culture.

The São Paio festival is a pilgrimage held at Praia da Torreira, attracting participants to various activities related to the nautical traditions of the region.
