Israel declared a state of war after a strong multiple attack originating from Gaza. The Palestinian Authority reported that Israeli airstrikes have already killed 508 people, including about a hundred children, and wounded 2,800 people. On the Israeli side, more than 700 people have died and 2,300 were wounded due to the unprecedented Hamas attack. Additionally, at least 130 people were taken hostage by Palestinian groups. The conflict involves Iran, the United States and Israel, in an escalation of violence that marks one of the most severe episodes in the region.
