The Israel Defense Forces announced at the beginning of this Sunday (6) that they are carrying out attacks on southern Lebanon. The Israeli military advised that residents of Arab Salim leave the area immediately due to the operation.

The operation is presented as retaliation for drone launches allegedly carried out by Hezbollah against Israeli soldiers. According to the Israeli Army, terrorists from the Islamic paramilitary organization Hezbollah launched two drones toward IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah is an Islamic paramilitary organization that operates in Lebanon. In response to the drone launches, the Israel Defense Forces reported that they are attacking in the south of the neighboring country.

So far, there is no information on injuries among Israeli soldiers. The document from the Israeli Army with the justification for the operation was obtained by the AFP news agency.
