Thousands of people took to the streets of Berlin today to protest against the high cost of rents in the city, demanding the expropriation of property owners. The demonstration brought the housing crisis to the center of the German capital, with participants carrying signs and slogans against the increase in house prices.
Among the numerous participants, a man dressed as an astronaut stood out as he moved through the crowd with a sign that read "your rents are moon prices," an ironic reference to the prices practiced in the Berlin real estate market.
