Over 260 operatives are fighting a fire that broke out in Serra d'Ossa, in the municipality of Estremoz, in the district of Évora. The fire is affecting an area of pine forest and scrubland, according to information confirmed to the Lua agency by a Civil Protection source. The firefighting operation deploys a significant number of human resources to try to control the fire in that area of the Alentejo region. Authorities did not indicate whether the fire caused any injuries or structural damage, nor did they provide details on the cause of the fire.
