PF Delegates Association asks Gonet to declare himself recused in Mendonça's report

cbn5 September 2026 at 23:52

The National Association of Federal Police Delegates (ADPF) published a public note asking the Attorney General, Paulo Gonet, to recuse himself and abstain from taking actions in procedures related to the report requested by Minister André Mendonça, which mentions his relationship with André Vorcaro and Alexandre de Moraes. The document was signed by more than 2,300 delegates from the institution.

The note expresses concern and indignation over the establishment, by the PGR, of an external control procedure to investigate the conduct of the PF in preparing the report regarding the material seized in operation Compliance Zero. For this reason, the association requests that the procedure be archived and that the revealed facts be investigated in their entirety, without selectivity regarding the authorities involved.

The entity argues that the objective of such an external control procedure is essentially intimidating toward the Federal Police investigators. The association also states that it will provide full assistance to its members who are affected by these actions.
