Review: Black Pantera Sets Rock in Rio Sunset Stage on Fire with Hardcore and Song 'Fogo nos Racistas'

Black Pantera took the Rock in Rio Sunset Stage to present their new album, "Continental," in a moment of consecration for the band. Considered one of the most beloved of the new Brazilian rock, the trio built their name on the road with heavy sound and much indignation, continuing the metal-hardcore party from Sepultura on the Mundo Stage. Despite the threat of rain, the public showed up in force, wearing shirts from various bands that would perform on the same day.

The band took the stage with lighting in red tones and sirens, immediately starting with "Hórus," one of the strongest tracks from the new album, whose verses say "in the name of the father, the son, and the holy black one." The trio didn't let up on intensity in the following numbers, playing "Padrão é o Caralho" and "Obsoleto," when the first punk circles began to form in the audience.
