The semi-final gala took place on September 5th, in which 21 final candidates were selected from among 49 heritage sites that were in competition. These advanced to the final stage of the election of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.
In the final phase, the three most voted candidates from each category will be submitted to voting, regardless of their region of origin.
The Alentejo region managed to secure the presence of three candidates in the final of this competition. The selected nominees represent Alentejo heritage in three distinct categories: great works, history, and 21st Century.
