Weather conditions in Portugal have alternated between rain and intense heat, which is harming agricultural activity in the country. The strong heat that has been felt is not favorable for crops and harvests.
TVI went to a wheat field in the fields of Golegã, where they observed the negative effects of hot weather on crops. Tomatoes, in particular, already show visible marks resulting from exposure to intense heat.
This situation raises concerns for farmers, who see their crops being affected by the adverse and irregular weather conditions that have been occurring.
